FLO Bahamas, short for Full Life Outreach, is a national volunteer service organization recruiting Bahamians to volunteer their time and skills to address community needs. We are a registered nonprofit organization founded on October 3rd 2013.

Our Vision

To be national volunteer service that creates a culture of volunteerism, promoting social responsibility, civic participation, wholesome lifestyles and national development.

To tackle The Bahamas’ most pressing social & environmental issues through the power of community volunteerism.

Steffon Evans

Founder & National Director 

Steffon is a Bahamian community organizer and NPO Executive. He started volunteering in 2009, and since then has followed a passion to improve the lives of Bahamians through a full time career in civil society. Since 2012, his work has impacted tens of thousands of community members, and hundreds of local organizations and public agencies through national scale community development programs around The Bahamas. 

Deno Cartwright

Chairman, Board of Directors

Deno Cartwright is a Bahamian leader, pastor, and finance professional dedicated to service and national development. With over fifteen years of experience across banking, education, and community work, he has consistently championed a whole-of-community approach to progress. His leadership spans the public, private, and civic sectors, from advancing youth policy and financial education to pioneering faith-based initiatives that strengthen families and communities throughout The Bahamas.

Erin Brown Ph.D (hc)

Vice Chair, Board of Directors

Erin Brown, Ph.D. (hc) is a Grand Bahama native, global Disability Inclusion Consultant, and Vice Chair of FLO Bahamas. With over 20 years of experience leading change across education, policy, and community development, she brings a bold, people-centered vision to national volunteerism. A proud advocate and ParaTriathlete, Erin inspires others to believe that when everyone is included, communities thrive.

Jason Moncur

Sr. Administrative Officer

Jason is a Bahamian community organizer and law enforcement officer. With a background in administration & program management, he has consistently used his talents to better society. He is involved in in several community organizations and previously served as program manager for FLO’s Impact Club Program, a national volunteer youth program that engaged 200 youth from 10 schools on 3 islands; with support from a team of 30 volunteers.
